how do I take care of my lashes?

  • Do not get lashes wet for at least 24 hours

  • Use oil-free products

  • Avoid hot steam or sauna (minimize hot yoga)

  • Avoid sleeping on your stomach or sides to avoid pressure on the extensions (invest in a satin pillow case)

  • Avoid running water directly on your lashes

  • Do not rub, pick or pull your eyes

  • Do not use a mechanical eyelash curler

  • Clean your eyelashes everyday with Lash Shampoo. Please do not use baby shampoo as it can be drying.

How do i prepare for my appointment?

Arrive without any eye makeup or contact lenses. This will minimize the cleanup/prep time and allow more time for applying the extensions. You will need to keep your lashes dry for 24 hours after the application so it's also a good idea to have your hair washed the day of or night before.

Can i get my lashes wet?

In the first 24 hours you cannot get your eyelash extensions wet, but after you most definitely can, and should be washing them everyday!

Will i need mascara?

If you feel you must then you can use a lash sealant for classic lashes only. Do not use waterproof mascara or any type of oil based mascara because it can dissolve the bonding agent and shorten the life of your eyelash extensions causing them to fall sooner. You will also have to make sure you remove all makeup every night.

Generally, the extensions purpose is to take this step out of your beauty regime making your mornings a lot faster!

What is the difference between volume and classic lashes?

Classic: 1 lash extension is glued to 1 natural lash. This method is also known as 1 to 1 or 1:1. Classic lashes are perfect for clients who already have a lot of lashes, but want to add more length. Classic lashes look more natural.

Volume: When multiple lashes in a fan formation are applied to one single natural eyelash individually at a time. Volume lashes create more of a full and fluffy look. Volume lashes are much thinner in density compared to classic so it will not feel heavy, but because more are being applied it creates a dense look.
