Use oil-free products
Avoid getting your lashes directly wet with hot water for 24 hours.
Avoid hot steam or sauna (minimize hot yoga)
Avoid sleeping on your stomach or sides to avoid pressure on the extensions (invest in a satin pillow case)
Avoid running water directly on your lashes
Do not rub, pick or pull your eyes
Do not use a mechanical eyelash curler
Clean your eyelashes everyday with Lash Shampoo. Please do not use baby shampoo as it can be drying.
Before my appointment
Arrive without any eye makeup or contact lenses. This will minimize the cleanup/prep time and allow more time for applying the extensions. You will need to keep your lashes dry for 24 hours after the application so it's also a good idea to have your hair washed the day of or night before.
Volume vs Classic
Classic: 1 lash extension is glued to 1 natural lash. This method is also known as 1 to 1 or 1:1. Classic lashes are perfect for clients who already have a lot of lashes, but want to add more length. Classic lashes look more natural.
Volume: When multiple lashes in a fan formation are applied to one single natural eyelash individually at a time. Volume lashes create more of a full and fluffy look. Volume lashes are much thinner in density compared to classic so it will not feel heavy, but because more are being applied it creates a dense look.
